As we already know Microsoft has withdrawn The launch of the Recall feature in Copilot+ is indefinite, but for selected Insiders who have received this feature, they can still try and use the Recall feature on their devices.

However, with the KB5038575 update released for Windows 11 Insider Dev (Build 26120.961) users, Microsoft appears to have removed the Recall application and all settings related to the feature.

Where according to information from Windows Latestthe reason why Microsoft removed this feature from the system is of course because it exists Potential Threats to User Data Security and Privacy which was worried by many users, therefore Microsoft decided to remove Recall on devices used by Windows Insiders.

Now for those who forgot, Recall was previously planned to be available on PC Copilot+ as a preview experience and some users in the US may have had this experience, besides that Recall should be widely available to everyone on June 18 2024. However, due to imperfections in privacy, Microsoft decided to make it Recall as an optional feature and then its launch was postponed indefinitely.

The recall itself is then planned to be available as a preview for Windows Insider users in the future, but there are no exact details yet on when this will happen and it could be that it will be postponed for months.
