The latest version of the Microsoft Phone Link app will apparently allow users to select and copy text from images that have been synced with an Android Smartphone. This feature itself has appeared in the Insider Release Preview build and will be available to everyone soon.
Now for those who don't know, with Phone Link users can connect Windows with an Android smartphone to synchronize calls, messages, notifications and images, and can now even stream video from the smartphone camera to a Windows computer.

Apart from that, through the latest version that has been released for Windows 11 Insider Release Preview Build 22635.3646 users, Phone Link can now extract text from images on Android smartphones.
With this feature, of course users will immediately be able to copy text from the photo they take, which of course will be very interesting for those of you who like taking photos of whiteboards, books or other things that contain text in them.
However, according to information from The Vergethis feature is still not perfect where text recognition still has errors when compared with text extractor owned by Apple and Samsung.
This feature will probably be stable when it is released in Windows 11 version 24H2 later, but we'll see guys, will this feature be perfect or not? considering that Microsoft has also presented the same feature in the Snipping Tool application.
