Microsoft seems to be testing a new animation on the Windows 11 login page, where this new animation is called “CredUI_Rejuvenation” and you can get it by activating ID 42941381 on Windows 11 Insider Canary Build 26212 or later.

This leak was first announced by leaker @PhantomOfEarth on X where he revealed that in Build 26212, users can activate new animations that are better than before.

For example, in the video above, where shortly after the user enters the login credentials, there will be an animation welcome back with the Windows Hello animation switching to the Windows logo.

Old animation like this

And if we compare it with the old animation, actually these changes currently don’t seem too striking and tend to overlap each other, but with this new animation it seems like it will be a replacement for the old animation in Windows 11.

Honestly, I quite like it, because of the animation spinning dot the current one has actually been around since the Windows 10 era, so a refresh is necessary. But what do you think? Comment below guys.

Interesting isn’t it?, from now on, let’s just wait for further news and hopefully Microsoft will start providing refreshments to this section of the login page because of course this section is seen by users quite often.
