Several months ago Microsoft introduced weather widget New on Lockscreen with a more attractive appearance. This change was initially only introduced in Windows 11 Insider Dev and Beta and if users want to try using it, users must activate it using ViveTool.

You can read the tutorial on the following page: How to Get New Weather on Windows 11 Insider Lockscreen

So for now, the Weather Widget is present in Windows 11 in general, whether you are using Windows 11 22H2 or 23H2 you can activate it easily.

If you are curious, here WinPoin summarizes short steps for displaying the Weather Widget on the Windows 11 Lockscreen.

Step 1. First, please open Settings > Personalization > Lock screen.

Step 2. After that on section lock screen status, please set it from None become Weather and more.

After that, automatically when Windows is in the Lockscreen position it will display a widget as in the following image.

So, when compared to the old look, to be honest, I prefer this new look because it just seems cleaner and neater lock screen.

What do you think? Comment below guys and do you like it too?
