A few days ago, Microsoft released a new build 26244 for Windows 11 Insider Canary users. In this update, there are a number of new things that Microsoft has introduced, one of which is improvements to the Windows Backup application.
Well, starting with Windows 11 Build 26244, the Windows Backup application now has the option to do so backups arrangement sound scheme which can then be restored again from the same application.
This option certainly adds extra options for users who have made the settings sound on their system and want to save those settings from Windows backup.
In addition, some settings from the Control Panel have also been moved, one of which is the Font setting which has now been moved to Settings > Personalization > Fonts, and if you want to enter the display classic font management users can directly visit the system folder C:WindowsFonts.
Some Other Improvements
In addition to the Windows Backup and Font improvements as described above, Microsoft also provides the option special banner For users who have logged in with a Microsoft account, on the Settings > Accounts page, there is a button add now to add additional backup email addresses.
Additionally, on the Home page in the Settings app, Microsoft has also started displaying card new is Game Pass Recommendations.
As for improvements, if previously you had difficulty upgrading to the latest build because it was blocked by the Pcasvc.dll error, now this problem has been resolved in this build, guys.
Fixed an issue resulting in some Insiders seeing a dialog with a Pcasvc.dll error and the message “Missing entry: PcaWallpaperAppDetect” after upgrading from Windows 11 version 22H2/23H2 to 26xxx builds.
Known Issues
So, have any new problems been discovered? The answer is here, including:
- Voice Access may error in some languages such as Chinese.
- The Windows Update page may incorrectly display pages in Windows that are in a language other than English.
- Then there is a problem related to colors not appearing correctly in the Task Manager if the user applies the Dark display.
