A trick that may be familiar to YouTube Premium users, especially if the user is in a region with quite high prices. By using a VPN, users can actually buy premium packages at lower prices in certain regions, for example in the US the price for Individual Premium is around $13.99 while in Indonesia it is around Rp59,000 per month.

Even though this is actually an illegal step and method, on the other hand it is of course an advantage for users because they can pay a lower price for the same features.

Now regarding this, recently YouTube Premium users have been using VPN report that their package was automatically canceled by Youtube.

And quoted from PCMagGoogle has confirmed that it has cracked down hard by canceling premium memberships for accounts that have been identified as falsifying country of registration information.

For violating YouTube's Paid Terms of Service, these users will receive an email and in-app notification notifying them of the cancellation

Action is carried out in stages

Now regarding this action, Youtube has started it in stages for users who are identified as falsifying regions with VPN when registering for Youtube Premium.

And if you do this trick, and you also happen to be in a region with a more expensive YouTube Premium price, you apparently have to be prepared to have your Premium account cancelled.
