As we already know, through updates Update KB5039307 Microsoft has brought improvements to the Start Menu by bringing Phone Link integration there.

With this integration, users can more quickly access their mobile devices from the Start Menu without having to enter the Phone Link application first.

However, keep in mind that the Flyout Phone Link in the Start Menu will only be available if the user has activated the “get the latest updates as they are available” option in Windows Update.

So what if you haven't got it yet?

Don't worry guys, if you have installed the KB5039307 update and unfortunately haven't received these changes, you can actually activate the flyout phone link by force using ViveTool. The method is very simple, namely by:

Step 1. First download ViveTool from the page followingthen Extract as usual.

Step 2. Next, please open it command prompt run as administrator then go into directory where did you extract vivetool?

Step 3. Finally, please enter the following command:

vivetool /enable /id:48697323,48433719

After that, as usual, you can just restart your system, guys, then make sure you have used the latest Phone Link application available on the Microsoft Store. And if everything is finished, the Flyout Phone Link should now be attached to the Start Menu.

Do you like it?

To be honest, I don't like it, but fortunately Microsoft presents this feature as optional and we can turn it off via the Settings > Personalization > Start page.

So, if the user doesn't like it because it will only make the Start Menu bigger and too busy, we can easily disable it. Then the question is, do you like this change? Comment below guys and give your opinion.
