The release of Windows 11 version 24H2 is getting closer, this is marked by the release of this version for Windows 11 Insider Release Preview users, the most stable version of all the other insider versions.

According to announcement Microsoft, the version that is present this time is Build 26100.712 which brings quite a lot of changes to the operating system including several improvements that were previously announced. One of the highlights is the support for HDR Background, Energy Saver, Sudo for Windows, Rust in Windows Kernel, Wi-Fi 7 support, Voice Clarity and more.

Additionally, there are a number of other improvements including scrollable view on quick settings, the ability to create archive files 7z and tarimprovements to File Explorer, and many others.

Windows 11 24H2 which is present at the Insider Release Preview also of course brings full support for Copilot+ devices. Apart from bringing Wi-Fi 7 support, Windows 11 24H2 will also bring additional AI features for devices that support (Copilot+ PC) including Recall which Microsoft just introduced at the May 20 2024 event.

So, for those of you who want to try Windows 11 24H2, you can get it from the Settings page > Windows Updates > Check for Updates > then download & install Windows 11, version 24H2 which is available there.
