For those of you who are Microsoft Edge users, in previous releases you may have found that the browser would encounter errors and crash when you tried to delete… favorites or bookmark that you save.

Especially if you synchronize the bookmarks with other devices in the same Microsoft account.

The good news is, this issue has finally been fixed on July 2, 2024, through the release of Microsoft Edge Chromium version 126.0.2592.87. With that, users are expected to immediately update their browser to this version, because apart from the bug fix, Microsoft has also fixed bugs and performance issues in the previous release.

Fixed a browser crash that occurred when an on-premises sync user deleted a Favorite

Microsoft reveals

This update itself should have been rolled out automatically for all Microsoft Edge users, but if not, you can just go directly to the page edge://settings/help to get updates manually.

So, have you got the update? and did you encounter the issue in the previous release? comment below guys.
