Recently there was quite interesting news coming from WABetaInfo where in WhatsApp Beta for Android v2.24.11.13, there is a new feature that allows users to delete number of unread messages.

So, the example itself is as in the picture above, where this new feature is an option “Clear unread when app opens” on the Notifications page in WhatsApp Settings.

When activated, it will automatically perform reset on unread message notification or unread message notifications every time the user opens the WhatsApp application. With that, of course the number of unread messages or unread message count will be reset so it will be useful for users with a high volume of messages from group chat.

However, if you are a WhatsApp Beta user, unfortunately this feature is still not available to all beta testers who have joined and this new feature is still being tested internally by WhatsApp.

What do you think about this feature? Comment below guys and give your opinion.
