Right now when we do screen recording using the Snipping Tool application, what we have recorded will not be saved automatically like when we recorded it screenshots.
However, this seems to be changing because it coincides with the release Windows 11 Insider Canary Build 26231Microsoft has updated the version of the Snipping Tool application 11.2405.24.0 which contains new features in the form of automatically save for the Screen Recording feature.
We are rolling out an update for Snipping Tool (version 11.2405.24.0 and newer) to Windows Insiders in the Canary and Dev Channels that introduces automatic saving for screen recordings. This feature works the same as automatic save for screenshots. Your recordings will automatically be saved to Screen Recordings folder (inside your Videos folder). You can choose to turn this off in Snipping Tool settings.
With this, every time the user makes a screen recording, the results will be immediately saved in the specified folder, but the user can of course reopen it in the Snipping Tool application for further editing using the Clipchamp application.

Well files screen recording itself will be saved automatically in the folder Screen Recording Under the Users > Videos folder, there we can find all screen recordings from time to time without having to save them manually as before.

This new feature itself is currently only available for Windows 11 Insider Dev and Canary users, so for those of you who are users of the two insider builds, you can already try this feature, guys.
